Economic and Social Development Council (ESDC) is a non-profit, non-governmental Social Development Organization founded
by a group of Youth, social activists and development trainers in 2007 and has its office in Tinkune, Kathmandu.. ESDC is
registered under the Society Registration Act 2034 in District Administration Office, Kathmandu and affiliated with Social
Welfare Council. It is an organization holding a Special Consultative Status. ESDC is a development organization established
and managed by a group of Youth and social development practitioners. ESDC has been working with civil society organization
as well as Government agencies. It’s main activity is to provide the social and community services along different places of
Nepal.
 

ESDC is governed by its general assembly, which elects an Executive Committee consisting of 7 members in every one year. The
board develops the policies and a small secretariat acts as the implementer of the policies as well as ensures the smooth
functioning of the office.  ESDC has developed & implemented several policies such as personnel policy, financial policies,
human resource development policy, procurement policy and operational policy. To be a member of this organization one must
Home Loan have taken the National Citizenship and should be bound with the Organization. Moreover,  the National as well as international
Institutions who appreciate to help this organization to achieve it’s goal and encourage to gain the achievements are welcomed
to this Organization.
